I understand the need to protect, but not the need to delay: really, what difference would it make had they announced the discovery two hours later vs. two or three days later?

For you I am sure it does not compute. You have to think critically. If the Navy says what happened fast then our enemies can gauge how good their surveillance methods are. Also where they may be watching closer. Its like back in WWII when they had to let cities be bombed lest the Germans would suspect their code had been broken.

Yeah, being woke could have cost their lives.


I know from experience from my father.

He had a lot of wisdom even in his older years.

He was a vet of two wars.

He just knew stuff when others didn't.

The right has absolutely lost their minds. Just flat out stupidity.

Practically the entire country can see woke cities going down the gutter.

It's just something the woke people themselves have to figure out.

What are you guys even talking about with “woke”? Just apply it wherever you want since it doesn’t mean anything I guess.

Private business owners pushing old expensive entitled dudes out for younger cheaper hungrier people has been the capitalistic American business standard for at least 40 years. Individual business owners make poor or arrogant decisions that turn out poorly , wow, shocker. If only we did the same thing with politicians we’d be a lot better off.

Boston seems to be doing fine, as is Ann Arbor, Athens, Madison: the list goes on.

There's a few west coast cities that have problems with homeless people, but bums like the weather out here better than east of the Rockies.
