One of these is probably extinct and the other two of which still live on the same island chain. It’s a fusion bat, a sort of fuzzy, winged spork. The ancestry of A.schwartzi has puzzled scientists for almost three decades, and the idea that it’s a hybrid has been mooted before. Peter Larsen from Texas Tech University confirmed the bat’s unique ancestry by sequencing DNA from 237 individuals belonging to the seven fruit bat species of the Lesser Antilles. Maybe Oklahoma wanted to protect the people against caskets that leaked, wren't constructed well and posed a health danger? If so, they should've just mandated casket construction requirements, instead of regulating who can sell one. |

In other words, the vampire bat would have to have the same ability to "replicate efficiently" [the bio-weapon]. The formula didn't occur in nature naturally and was assembled by a computer in a lab (Baric patent), so they'd have to make sure it spread for it to be of use as a weapon. Patents can't occur with formula found in nature. I'm thinking Baric is a Croatian surname. The weapon is definitely not a so-called "virus" [second link].
