from Wiki: "At a campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 20, 2020, Trump said he had instructed his administration to slow down coronavirus testing in order to keep the number of confirmed cases down." and more: "In January 2020, President Trump disregarded warnings from his administration's officials about the threat the virus posed to the United States in favor of the country's economic considerations. He publicly downplayed the danger until mid-March, making numerous optimistic statements, including that the outbreak was "under control" and being overcome, or that the virus would somehow vanish." "A March 14 article on NBC said CDC officials wanted to recommend everyone over 60 remain inside their homes whenever possible but was instructed by the Trump administration to not say that." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._federal_government_response_to_the_COVID-19_pandemic . the foolish sayings of a rich man pass for words of wisdom by the fools around him |

While Trump was taking the virus serious the Democrats were more worried about it being called "China Virus" and making it as political as possible. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

Maybe the reason Donny lost is because his fanboys like Duffman don’t actually live in the real world? “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

I read the March 14 article. "....told not to say that by Trump administration officials, three people familiar with the matter told NBC News." More anonymous sources. Those 'three people familiar with the matter' probably never existed. The CDC made the recommendation. He did suggest slowing testing, but he never gave the order. He felt the US was conducting more tests than any other nation. Which was true, and that was why the US was showing more cases than other nations. At the time, June 20, 2020 the US was second in testing per 1,000 people, behind Denmark (pop. 5.8 million). After seeing how poorly Biden has handled every crisis that this nation has faced over the past three years, from inflation, to the borders, to budget deficits, to crime, to fentanyl, to 100,000 annual drug deaths, to supply chain shortages, to Afghanistan, do you actually think he would have handled the Covid crisis better than Trump? |

I disagree with the premise of your question. But OF COURSE he would have handled Covid better than Donny!!! You righties are really trying to rewrite history here! There are ZERO areas of the presidency where Biden hasn’t done a much better job than Donny did. ZERO. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

you conveniently edited out this part of my post from Wiki: "In January 2020, President Trump disregarded warnings from his administration's officials about the threat the virus posed to the United States in favor of the country's economic considerations. He publicly downplayed the danger until mid-March, making numerous optimistic statements, including that the outbreak was "under control" and being overcome, or that the virus would somehow vanish." . the foolish sayings of a rich man pass for words of wisdom by the fools around him |
