A car would save them, but only at a car manufacturing PE (historically low about 8-10). Tesla's PE is an anomaly. I'll never buy an electric car. Now, if AAPL made a rear wheel drive V8 gasoline truck or car, I'd consider buying if their price was attractive. I don't think the VR set will save them though, but she could trade at a higher multiple for those sales. The VR set sounds like a money pit never to return (like Meta's $21B). With a commodity product like a cell phone or computer, I'd place a multiple of about 10 for those sales. To increase the phone market share from there, would be close to impossible while retaining margins. The banking business will eventually be stopped, once they or Goldman make a financial mistake. Now, the subscription business deserves somewhat of a higher multiple. So those sales can compensate for the coming revenue weakness of their phones. In regards to their TV streaming product, it'll keep growing. I'd place about a 20 PE on those sales. |

I would assume a high yield Savings account would be better for most people. With that there is no time commitment and you have access to the funds at any point you need them. As long as it is under $250,000 so it is protected by the FDIC and you can get around 5%. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Of course, I was bullish in the sense that I felt the market massively overreacted to the Magic 30th debacle as well as Bank of America's downgrades (and BoA has recently upgraded them). Currently, Hasbro is trading at $64.10 right this minute. Let's see, March 15th to August 4th, is 142 days, so the gain would be $16.99/share if you bought then and sold now. In terms of RoI, it's a straight return of 64.10/47.11 = 136.064529823% Not too bad. Obviously, any articles related to stocks are for entertainment and educational purposes only, but it would be neat if someone made a small play on it based on my article. The only thing I have EVER been good at is identifying downward overreactions. I wouldn't even publish anything else I think, not even for fun, when it comes to trading/investing. There will probably be another follow-up article on either WoV or WoO coming out Monday or Tuesday. "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. If I think people are suggesting the future looks too bleak, then they MUST have overreacted. "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. Sherman |

But the main thing I discovered over my career, is the market is rigged to the upside. The way they do that, is require margin accounts for short positions. So it can cost more to play the downside than the upside. Derivatives are different, but there's time decay, which can be worse. So bears have to study more because there's more risk. |
