1.) Because that's always worked. 2.) Weird metaphor. 3.) Sometimes there isn't a creek to go to, what then? "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen..let us give them all they want." William T. Sherman |

Literally move close to a creek or collect rain water. To become individually independent we're just spinning our wheels if we don't remove the central bank. A person can work all their life, never miss a day, save the majority of their cash, and can't pay hospital bills. It's not getting better. It's getting worse. We just debased another 30% in three years. |

I do not accept that DeSantis is an anti vaxxer. I do accept that he did not want people to lose jobs because they weren’t vaxxed. I do accept that he didn’t want to use the power of law to force people to be vaxxed. DeSantis has publicly acknowledged that he has been vaccinated against COVID-19. I agree with him. I recommend the vaccines and all boosters to everyone I know. So are you saying I’m an anti vaxxer because I don’t want to force someone to be vaxxed to hold a job? Go to a sporting event? He runs a state with lower real estate taxes than I pay. With no state income tax. With lower sales taxes than I pay. That people are leaving Democrat run states like NY and California by the tens of thousands every month. Yeah I’ll support him over Bidenflation/open borders/loan elimating/trillion dollar new bills/ Democrat IN A HEARTBEAT! Remember, I’m extremely pro abortion rights. Obviously DeSantis not my guy on that issue. Unfortunately the only person who is for all of the things I’m for is me. And I’m not running in 2024. |

Has Florida ever really been economically bad under anyone? We're a tourist state? If tourism is bad the governor would be bad. We've had a lot of Democrat governors prior to consecutive Republicans. WTF ???????????????????? Desantis did not create FL FL has had many Dem Governors Theses FL policies you like are legacy policies Desantis inherited FROM DEMS AND REPUBLICANS in the past I have no doubt Desantis is an anti Vaxxer because he hired an anti vaxxer to be his surgeon general From Wikipedia On appointment, Ladapo critiqued the "senseless" fear-driven cult of vaccination — characterizing vaccines as one of the many equally preventative arms of pandemic management — and would repeal quarantine rules for schoolchildren exposed to COVID-19 as his first executive action.[12][14] The following month, Ladapo refused to wear a mask while meeting State Senator Tina Polsky, who was set to undergo radiation therapy;[20] he defended his actions on the ground that masking hindered effective communication.[21] The Senate confirmed Ladapo on February 23, 2022; during background checks, his former UCLA supervisor refused a positive recommendation and said that Ladapo's "hands-off" approach towards tackling COVID-19 had not only distressed colleagues but also violated the Hippocratic oath.[22][23][24] In March 2022, Ladapo recommended that healthy children in Florida not be vaccinated against COVID-19; thus, Florida became the first state to contradict relevant guidelines by the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics.[25][26] Experts cited by Ladapo disagreed with his stance and accused him of cherry-picking their work.[27] In October 2022, Ladapo cited an anonymous non-peer-reviewed analysis — claiming high cases of cardiac-related deaths among men who took mRNA COVID-19 vaccines — to suggest that men aged 18 to 39 not be vaccinated.[28][6] Medical professionals rejected his analysis as methodologically flawed and unscientific; David Gorski noted that it was the first time in American history that a "state government weaponized bad science to spread anti-vaccine disinformation as official policy."[29][30] In January 2023, the Faculty Council of the University of Florida Health concluded upon an investigation that Ladapo's recommendation was based on "careless and contentious research practice" and might have violated the university policies on research integrity.[31] Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

You would get my vote. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |
