DeSantis may have popular policies with the Repubs but he is definitely casting himself as a divisive figure to the Democrats. Of course, because I think that about Scott and Haley from my left position, I'm sure I'm completely wrong about who the Repubs will prefer. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Another stupid rule. As I understand it the minority party (Repubs) get X members on a committee, and the majority party (Dems) get X +1. I can see no reason that either party should not be able to change who they appoint to a committee at any time. I assume if Feinstein resigns the Dems can replace her on the committee post haste. And since she is in absentia anyway, and her replacement will be a Democrat, she should resign yesterday…. |
