You’re explaining that you start from a place of pre-conceived notions and require overwhelming evidence to move off pre conceived notions that you’re biased to. Which makes you dismissive of 90% or so of evidence, you typically yawn at any evidence pointed out to you and call it meaningless if it doesn’t fit what you’ve already decided is true based on your bias.

I consider Dr Soopoo our resident medical expert. Can your so called evidence convince him who leans right? I value his medical expertise. If you can't convince him, how can you expect to convince me.

I don’t think that I can be convinced to any reasonable degree of certainty one way or the other. Whoever is presenting ‘evidence’ might be doing so to further their goal, and there is no way I’m savvy enough to figure out if it is ‘real’ evidence or made up stuff. Didn’t tobacco companies have ‘evidence’ that smoking wasn’t harmful?
