How did appeasement work out for Neville Chamberlain, Britain and Europe in the 1930s?

Give Russia Part of Ukraine now. Tomorrow they will want Moldova, then more of Ukraine, then Poland, then Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Zelensky is correct. There should be no reward for waging war.

Of course you are right. But if ‘the free world’ really cared we’d be at war with Russia, not deciding how many billions of dollars we will be sending to Ukraine. I just hate the waste of human life this stupid war has brought.

Putin is getting what he wants? Over a quarter million dead soldiers good for Russia how? Ukraine periodically making successful bombing strikes inside Russian territory is good for Russia how? Russia being sanctioned up the wazoo is good for Russia how? I’m not saying anything about this war is good for Ukraine, but you can’t convince me it has been good for Russia.

"Likely"? You win the internet for understatement.
Putin has no interest in, nor inclination to concede anything to trump. trump knows it and falls back to whining and griping and picking on Ukraine. Probably even blaming Biden and Obama.

'What Putin wants' is not the same as 'whats good for Russia'

Then all Putin needs to do for the good of his country, is pull back his troops to his side of pre-war border, ceded back all conquered territory, assist in demining all minded areas and negotiate a lasting and just peace with Ukraine. Ball's totally in his court. Instead, he wants to be like all the other Russian leaders before him and conquer territory, making enemies and not friends.
