License plate collecting with the Wizard

Back in the day you got new plates every year or almost every year and no such thing as vanity plates. As a kid we had these wooden cars and my dad put his old plates on for us. Also had them on our Hot Cycles. It was fun. I would collect some on some basis, maybe year I was born and states I have been to except I do not really have space and am trying to keep from accumulating stuff in life. I do love seeing collections though. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

As the signs become damaged, the various state highway departments will retire them. My main contact says he has good contacts with said highway departments and I've never questioned it. I also have an interstate sign -- The 5 out of California. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
