Can the government force you to keep an innocent person alive?

Or more specifically, can the government force you to keep an innocent person alive whom you have no responsibility for their existence.

For instance, let's say, a father comes home to find all of his family murdered, and his 13 year old daughter missing. A couple months later she is rescued, and now pregnant with the murderer's baby.

If that is a person inside her uterus, should she be forced to carry it to full term and deliver it? I think you can truly say, neither the girl nor her fetus are responsible for the situation they are in.

BTW, my conclusion for those who want to ban abortion based on personhood is you can't even allow abortion for rape victims even in this case as you would still be killing an innocent.

Here's a simple solution, assuming abortion is prohibited.

Require all women who don't want the responsibility and hassle of raising children to turn over unwanted newborns to the federal government.

This leads to options, depending which party is in power.

The democrats can slaughter them and drink their blood while munching on a tasty pizza; the republicans can perform genetic, biological and psychological modifications on them and keep them confined in snake handling churches until they reach 18, at which time they become either the next gen super-soldiers or political operatives.

Those are silly solutions. Just drop the kids on the Mexican side of the wall. Their parents will eventually get Mexican citizenship.

I don't know why the Government doesn't encourage and pay for more abortions. In the vast majority of cases, paying for abortions would save the Government a TON of money.
