Getting real tired of Kamala Harris already.

How about Senator Tammy Duckworth
1st Senator to give birth while in office
From Wikipedia regarding her service

Duckworth was working toward a Ph.D. in political science at Northern Illinois University, with research interests in the political economy and public health of southeast Asia, when she was deployed to Iraq in 2004.[32] She lost her right leg near the hip and her left leg below the knee[35] from injuries sustained on November 12, 2004, when the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter she was co-piloting was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade fired by Iraqi insurgents.[36] She was the first American female double amputee from the Iraq War.[4] The explosion severely broke her right arm and tore tissue from it, necessitating major surgery to repair it. Duckworth received a Purple Heart[36] on December 3 and was promoted to the rank of major on December 21 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center,[37] where she was presented with an Air Medal and Army Commendation Medal.[36] She retired from the Illinois Army National Guard in October 2014 as a lieutenant colonel.[38]

Be careful, Some MAGAcolyte will call her a "sucker" and also say she "deserted" her troops when she retired.

Pat Toomey one of the few politicians I like

My detractors here might say " 'what the?'... he is no friend of Trump"

that would be because they forget I never wanted to vote for Trump but have been given a terrible choice to make ... this time it is the most decisively clear the opposition must be opposed

On the other hand, I do believe it will be a disaster for the Dems to put in a doofus. It'll be a bad 2 years is all

Never heard of her. I don't follow politics so I know very few politicians.

Perhaps what everyone forgets is the money raised could only be used for Harris for those claiming we should have a more open process for a new nominee. Sure, it might have worked out, but no way to know for sure. It was just another wrench in mechanism we'd have to worry about as we were also worried about the time factor and possibly introducing the nation to a person they knew even less than Harris.

Easy to say, we should've done something else.

The situation was already extraordinary as it is.

Also the Republicans were all in that Biden wasn't fit. They shouldn't ballyhoo about that we got him out since that's what they kept claiming. Trying to have it both ways, they were - Yoda.

I also like Republican Larry Hogan
Former Gov of MD
Now running for Senator in MD
He's the only republican running for the Senate that's pretty honest about Trump
Hogan was horrified on Jan 6.
To me that's respect
Too many right wing politicians worship Trump and brush Jan 6 aside. Too me that's Trump over country. Hogan don't play that game. He's a Republican. He's not a Trumper.

Good thing Trump has plenty of money donors as he is likely now running up another defamation judgment for millions of dollars.

If you told me on June 26th that by the end of July the Democratic Party would have a different nominee and asked me who I would choose to replace him, would I have picked Kamala?

Hell no!

I didn’t think people would coalesce around her like they did. And she’s turned out to be a much better campaigner than I expected. And the GOP just cannot seem to find a decent criticism of her (“communist” - they always call Dem candidates that, “slept her way to the top” - not true, sexist, and even if it was true who cares? “Drinks too much” - desperate and obviously false, “cusses too much” - lol, “no proof she worked at McDs” - sad).

Opinions change. 💡 On another Website, a guy kept "liking" ALL of my posts making my Alert notifications EXTREMELY high. I asked him politely to stop because of the insanely high alert notifications, and he kept going. I reported him to the Admin, and Posters thought I was being a Jerk for reporting someone who was just trying to help me out by liking all of my posts. I responded it's not helping someone out when they politely asked for it to be stopped and it kept going, it's harassment. Posters STILL thought I was being a jerk. The admin told me how to turn off my alert notifications and I did.

A few months later, the guy was liking ALL of posts of the same Posters who called me a Jerk. Those Posters changed their tune REALLY quickly and called him out for liking ALL of THEIR posts. They were like"Karen Nathan was RIGHT about you to call you out and report you and we called her a Jerk and stood up for you instead when we should have been supporting Karen Nathan and not you. We will be reporting your excessive likes to the Admin .

They reported the guy for excessive likes and the Admin responded something like,"This guy "likes," an alarmingly high volume of posts. This is unacceptable and out of line. After receiving multiple reports against him, I have permanently disabled his "like," privileges. Posters were happy that the Admin disabled his liking privileges. Once again, opinions change. 💡

I am guessing your posts do not get a lot of likes from this forum.
