The Lincoln Project guys are giddy this morning cause all their sources inside the WH say everyone is freaking out over the TRUE story about how Donny disrespected our war heroes. The campaign is furious and in an “all hands on deck” mode to try to send spokespeople out to pretend it isn’t true.

Hopefully, NYC saw some of that. Our Mao and Che quoting, class warfare General de Blasio, says restaurants are a luxury for the middle and upper classes. He is keeping thousands unemployed, by forbidding indoor dining until next year.

NYC has gotten good news. It will take years longer for it to flood from global warming as so many people are leaving it will rise 2" from the water next year due to all the less weight on top of it.

The difference between DUIs and voting, is voting is recorded, so it is very easy to see when somebody votes twice or in separate locations.... Once somebody gets out of a car, there is no record that they drove drunk, there is a record everytime and place you vote....

You are hurting my brain again! So if you have two senile parents, and open their mail, and send back in those ballots that YOU filled out, you actually think the government will find this out? Please....

Rx.... I think voter fraud "may" have swung some smaller races, and, yes, I really don't have any way to tell if it was bad Republicans or bad Democrats who benefited.

It is just such an easy fix for me..... make every person show up. on election day. be able to prove you are who you say you are.
I am willing to offer free (government pays for it) voter ID for the few sad lost souls on the fringes of society that somehow don't have an acceptable ID.
Then I will not need to worry about the fraud that certainly is possible with the current system.

Why does it have to be THAT day as opposed to having a window leading up to physically appear at the County Board of Elections?

Because it has worked that way for centuries. But I would not be opposed to having it be, say, the Monday and Tuesday instead of just the Tuesday. It is disruptive to the polling places which were built to be used for something else, not polling places! And the part time workers and volunteers also now need a second day.

County Boards of Elections often operate year round, or you could have it at the courthouse. My concern, as you basically point out, is that only having the ability to vote on one day can be significantly disruptive to workers (particularly those who travel) and business.

We wouldn't have innovation if, "Because it's always been that way," was considered a meritorious position 100% of the time.

I can’t imagine everyone in NYC or LA trying to vote on the same day. Sounds more like another vote suppression idea.
