Reality is the death rate is very, very low compared to estimates.

I’m old enough to remember when Donny estimated around April that it was going to be kept down to around 60,000 deaths.

Death rate is high
If you look at the total number of deaths in this country last few years and you look at this year
Its obvious the virus deaths are under counted because we have more deaths then attributed to the virus this year

the NYT is a legitimate news organization, not a campaign propoganda machine.

OH MY DEAR GOD!!! Are you
SERIOUS? You're making a joke,
right? The NYT is the biggest
left wing propaganda machine
we've ever had in this country.
You couldn't have typed that
with laughing out loud..

You do realize that you were talking up an article that was posted on the New York Times, right?

as an aside, the news sources I most often use are on this chart,
https://www.adfontesmedia.com/interactive-media-bias-chart-2/
with a rating above 46, and a bias between -10 and +10

The NYT is known to be a far left outlet.

They backed McCain 2008. Days after he sewed the nomination up they put out a hit piece on him.

Don't kid yourself that they are anything but far left.

And that's the puzzle. Why is
this Trump positive article is
the far left Libbie NYT? It
makes no sense. They have
TDS bigtime, it runs their lives.

You lost me on this one TP I don't understand the point you were trying to make. Annual deaths from all sources in the US is 2.8 million per year. Even using the 400,000 Covid deaths by the end of the year that is being thrown around we only get 15% more deaths than an average year. Once all the numbers are in for this year I expect the percentage will be lower than that since likely we will have less deaths from other old people diseases.

Barron Trump had coronavirus as well when his parents got it. He never had symptoms and has since tested negative.

Looking at news articles like this one

"Deaths in Colorado rose 20% during first 6 months of pandemic, reflecting COVID-19’s broader toll on health
COVID-19 is now state’s fourth leading cause of death, but fatalities caused by ODs, heart disease and more also rose"
