the case fatality rate may be considerably less than 1%. This suggests that the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%)

Much ado about nothing, just like
I said.

Airlines are hard hit, some resort hotels are worried, some businesses are encouraging reservation-booking but on a no penalty for cancellation basis.

Getting to your hotel destination is more concerning than being there. Although personally, I'd want the wait staff to not enter the room again until I leave.

Every time they come in, (even the cleaning staff) they are potentially coming from other guest rooms and I don't think their normal cleaning routine is enough to offset them bringing something with them.

All over the country Dems are cancelling
political meetings and town halls because
their Lib media is scaring them to death.
I read that since yesterday the media
realizes this isn't going to be the pandemic
they were hoping for and has really toned
it down. We'll see.

Yes. Airplanes and airports are potential dangers; hotel rooms will always suspend all housekeeping if you ask for it.

I’ll say it again. Even if not another person dies, it has been and will continue to be a big deal. Travel industry is being destroyed. It will of course he temporary but no one knows how long ‘temporary’ will be. Major sporting events will be canceled. Someone with a sniffle will not be welcomed at the office. Even if it turns out it is an overreaction the effects on the economy will be severe and real.
But in 6 months or 9 months or..... we will return to pre virus economy. No reason to think otherwise.

Donny’s visit to the CDC today:

-Said he wanted to keep sick people on a cruise ship to fudge the numbers
-Lashed out at the Dem governor of the worst hit state
-Preoccupied with the ratings he got last night on Fox
-Said anyone who wants to get tested can get tested (they can't)

just as there are idiots clearing store shelves of six moths worth of toilette paper, there will be idiots involved in business and public health decisions.

Airlines are hard hit, some resort hotels are worried, some businesses are encouraging reservation-booking but on a no penalty for cancellation basis.

Some surveillance programs will be scaled back, some will be beefed up.

Podcast host today was laughing at some of these idiots. Ones buying water. He asked what happened to their sink?

In three months you will have forgotten all about it.

1 month down.

Looking forward to forgetting about it.

The Corona brand of Mexican pale lager beer dates from 1925. The word coronavirus was coined in 1969 for the spikes that protrude from its membranes and resemble the tines of a crown or the corona of the sun.
