He has my vote for Pope!

I second that.

Merry/happy/glorious ______. May the season be marked by less consumption and more thankfulness.

Here is a picture of me taken last week at the M casino. I have never seen a nativity scene in a casino before.

Was in Vegas once on Christmas Eve/Day. I think I saw one tree in a corner in one casino. Otherwise it looked like any other day.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Saturnalia

Saturnalia was the holiday the
Xtions stole from the pagans.
When you have no traditions
of your own, stealing the
traditions of other cultures
is the fast track to respectability.

The yule tradition dates back
thousands of years. It celebrates
harvest and the start of the days
getting longer leading into
Spring. Lots of eating and drinking
and merry making and gifting.
All our Xmas traditions, even
caroling, come from the pagans
and not the fake newcomer Church
of Rome.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Yeah. 2000 years. They need to establish some staying power.

New compared to the pagan religions
from which they heavily appropriated
most of their traditions.

This has always been the worst time of year for me. Of all the crap that's ever happened, the very most happened in the last two weeks of December.

But I wish you a happy holiday anyway. Cheers.

But we do not base the calendar on those pagan traditions.

Yahoo was first. Do you use Yahoo or Google?
