If FACE had that much car money, no telling what he'd be wrenching on or how many parts it would be disassembled in.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

And I'd rather have a 90hp high revving 4 pot than a thousand in a 6. They just don't sound good, with rare exception, and a car without a voice is just transportation.

I would rather have a completely silent car, motorcycle, leaf blower, lawn mower, etc. Why would anybody want noise?

Although I am not a rider there is something very primal about the rumble of a Harley.

I really really really want one mommy.

Is that your Prince Charles impersonation?

The previous automobile sold for the last three years from Aston Martin (the DB11) was sold for over $200,000.

The DB11 offers two very distinct engine choices: a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 or a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V-12. The former develops 503 horsepower and 498 lb-ft of torque while the latter produces 630 ponies and 516 lb-ft.

Car and Driver said that they only tested a detuned version of the V-12 DB11, it still made 600 horsepower and rocketed from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and completed the quarter-mile in 11.7 seconds at 125 mph.

The convertible version is called the Volante.

You could literally buy a fleet of these Hyundais for the same amount of money.

Prince Phillip will turn age 100 on 10 June 2021 and Charles will be age 73 on 14 November 1948. Elizabeth will have her platinum anniversary for 70 years on the throne on 6 February 2022. It looks like she will finally retire from daily duties and Charles will be Regent.

We had no TV station in town for the Queens coronation in 1952. It was broadcast live on CBC radio and my father had little paper cutouts of all the royals, the coach and back drops. We listened to it on the radio and my father move the cutouts to the appropriate positions. I was not quite 5 but I can still remember my Dad and the cutouts.

Every time that I hear it I correctly deduce that it is a small penis moron riding it.

The sales of 14-inch screen TV sets skyrocketed earlier in 1953 when Buckingham Palace announced that the event would be televised. Twenty-seven million people sat in front of their new TV sets, waiting to see their new royal leader arrive at the Abbey. Meanwhile, 11 million more listened to the events unfold on the radio.

That's a very vivid story. Thank you for sharing that

Elizabeth II ascended the throne at the age of 25 upon the death of her father, George VI, on 6 February 1952, but her coronation was not until 2 June 1953. In the Netflix series , "The Crown" they explain that Winston Churchill, who had become Prime Minister for the second time on 26 October 1951, purposefully delayed the coronation, and Elizabeth figures out that the delay allows him time to consolidate power, because no one will vote the Conservative party out of power while he is arranging the coronation.

In the series, she agrees to the long delay if Winston will support her husband being in charge of coronation ceremonies. From 1946 to 1955 there was only a single TV station in Britain, and the decision to televise the coronation is accurately credited to Philip in the series.
