I live in Americs and follow many NeoCon circles,

So your a Lib, yet you hang out with
people who supported Bush, Cheney,
Chris Christie, Lindsey Graham, Mitch
McConnell, Marco Rubio, etc, who are
all admitted NeoCon's. and you talk
a lot about a Dutch guy who died 15
years ago that nobody outside of the
Netherlands ever heard of. Sure you
do...
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I like Bush. Cheney had some good foreign policy ideas.

The others are more mixed.

However, I am not talking about politicians, moreso ideas.

Douglas Murray is one of my favorite Neoconservative.

Christopher Hitchens used to be one of my heroes, very socialist (also an outspoken atheist), but very militarily sound.

As for talking about a "Dutch guy that died 15 years ago", the man is commonly alluded to during discussion of Islam and its intolerance or free speech.

NeoCon means socially liberal, militarily strong, and economically liberal. It is the perfect combination for the future. We need a strong state which is not afraid to use force to make the world a better place while enacting policies that make citizens more prosperous.

I can’t imagine why it would be that expensive to produce the morning show, other than the salaries of all the big names.

Disney needs some new material.
I only watched the Mandalorian 1st season.
Then I ended the subscription
I find it hard to sign back up for just 1 series when say Netflix has lots of shows that interest me.

The most expensive film list is naturally dominated by fantasy and superhero films

Comedy budgets are almost always driven by salaries. A rare exception was Evan Almighty, which opened on June 22, 2007 at a budget of $175 million because of the cost of handling the animals.

Comedies that bomb are often among the biggest box office failures. The Adventures of Pluto Nash, starring Eddie Murphy, is notable for being one of the biggest box office bombs in the history of cinema. It grossed just $7.6 million worldwide against its $100 million budget.

Since its IPO in 2002, Netflix has split its stock twice. The first was a 2-for-1 stock split that occurred in 2004. The second was a 7-for-1 stock split in 2015. Thus, if you had purchased one share of Netflix's stock on the day of its IPO and held it until now, you would have 14 shares today.

So for every dollar you spent on the IPO you would have $477.587 today. So if you invested $10,000 you would own $4,775,870 today.

If, instead, you had bought $1,000 worth of stock, you would have obtained roughly 66 shares at the time of Netflix's IPO. After Netflix's stock splits, you would own 924 shares. And at the stock's current price of $519 per share, those shares would be worth more than $470,000.

So far just doing ok for me
Bought in last summer after I sold my house
Only up 4% for me

Ended Netflix and signed up for Hulu for Nomadland
Watched Nomadland several times
Just canceled Hulu
Just got Sling back
I'll switch back to Hulu or Amazon or Netflx when they have something new I consider must see tv
