You're just a germaphobe.

Not at all. I don't know how old you are but when I was a kid in the 50s and into the early 60s there was this new thing called 'Frenching', open mouth kissing and using your tongue. It was hugely controversial it was not even shown in a movie until 1961 in Splendor in the Grass. Romantic mouth kissing was not shown in the movies at all until 1926. When I was in high school French kissing a girl was terribly exciting because it was verboten. Parents didn't like it, the church sure as hell didn't like it, teachers didn't like it. So of course we all wanted to do it. Now swapping tongues with someone is the norm. Ask a modern young person what French kissing is they won't know. Because it's now what everybody does.

In the movies before 1961 passionate kissing on the mouth was always done with the mouth closed. In the 19th century you might go your entire marriage without ever kissing your wife on the mouth other than a peck. It was considered very unsanitary as well it is. I was just reading that you can even spread syphilis with open mouth kissing. And those kind of diseases were rampant before the 20th century. It's a cultural thing just like oral sex is a cultural thing. Now we know you can get throat cancer by engaging in oral sex. Ask Michael Douglas. I remember in the late 60s going to the porn theater across the street from where I worked and never seeing men going down on women. That didn't really start till the 70s. If you watch 8 mm porn movies from the thirties and forties and fifties this was never ever done. It was considered disgusting and unsanitary which obviously it is. And if you wanted a BJ you went to a hooker because your wife sure as hell wasn't going to do it. And would probably divorce you if you asked.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Well, except for oddballs, we don't actually live under 19th century medical standards.

Gee, you missed the point. Surprised not. Open mouth kissing and oral sex are now accepted in the culture, which does not make them any less disgusting or unsanitary. As we moved into the 20th century and became more capable of curing and treating diseases caused by these nasty practices, they became more culturally accepted. Now we're in a pandemic and are you saying it's perfectly fine to be swapping tongues with strangers you meet in a bar or even with your girlfriend or spouse? Of course not, that would be reckless. So why is it not reckless at all times. It obviously is. I believe Seinfeld have an episode about this, how it's absolutely disgusting to use a woman's toothbrush yet you'll make out with her for 2 hours and that's fine. Makes no sense.

So you switch to kissing everyone as if that was what I was defending. Unless you're being forced to kiss someone, your point is uninteresting.

I actually don't know what you're defending. You cannot say that open mouth kissing is not disgusting, because it is. There's no way around it. I remember the first time I did it. I was a junior in high school and it was about the most exciting thing I've ever done because it was new and you were not supposed to do it. Your parents certainly never did it, they would not even discuss it. I even remember the girl's name and I never saw her again. That's how big an impact it had on me, it was so sexual it kept me going for years. Because the second time is always a letdown from the first time.

Eating flesh is disgusting. That's what you do when you eat meat. Why don't you stop that disgusting filth.

I love it when during a debate your opponent completely off the subject because he's run out of ammo. The judges notice it also it and will give you negative points

You lost as soon as I said, unless someone is forcing you to kiss your point is uninteresting. Your point was voted irrelevant.
