I looked for that, didn’t find it. I’m interested to hear what you thought. Patel and James are great, and McKinnon steals every scene she’s in. But the director repeatedly goes for the easy shots. Of course he makes all of them, but at the end we felt cheated.

Shoot. I thought I wrote a review of it, but can't find one. I will try to put one up in the general movies thread. Briefly, despite the issues you raise, which I agree with, I still liked it.

For those of you who don’t watch Stranger Things, this is Maya Hawke:



She has a minor role in Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood near the end.

She looks and sounds EXACTLY like her mom, Uma Thurman.

I suspect we will be seeing a lot more of her in the coming years. She was the breakout star of season 3 of Stranger Things.
