Dinesh D'Souza

This guy is a big presence on youtube , at least if you ever watch a conservative's video you will soon be offered a chance to watch a billion D'Souza videos. 

He is really a fascinating speaker, like him or not, and seems very effective in taking on the Libs. Sometimes, of course, he is a bit over the top for me.

Although he sometimes "makes it personal" in the Q&A that follows each appearance, for the most part he treats questioners civilly. Yet the title of each video tends to be "D'Souza destroys an idiot" ... I really dislike that [not his fault]; actually most questioners hold their own OK. 

Some of the things he says I question, and I wind up looking it up for myself. One charge I had doubts about was his claim that the Nazis were actually left wing and not right wing. He has me convinced now he is right, or at least that the origins are totally Leftist. Read the Nazi party platform and there really can be no doubt, wow, they were practically trying to outdo the Communists. Links provided, including a snopes backlash against the notion which I found unconvincing [of course there are advocates of the other claim, who Snopes trots out].

I used to believe they were Right-Wing because you just get taught that in school. They get called Right-Wing because they are bitter enemies to the Communists, who are Left-Wing. Except that they are only enemies because they want a different path to the same goal. Life under the Nazis was a hair better than under communism, but both would be the same living hell. You just had more consumer goods under the former.

The Communists were International Socialists instead of National Socialists; the former in Germany taking their orders from Moscow, making enemies that way. Though the Nazi Party Platform was anti-capitalist, Hitler found out he needed them in time of war at least [like Krupp]. We have to speculate as to how it would have gone without war.

You have what the advertising says the dog likes and you have what the dog actually does. If you put out two bowls of food out, and the dog prefers one over the other doesn't matter what the advertising says.

Which does a neo-Nazi embrace when it doesn't have its own candidate in a race. As far as I know, it's a rightwing candidate or no one.

As the socialists and communists I have met embrace the leftwing candidate. We have established that though really out on the same wing they are enemy ideologies.

labels mean little.
