How were the food trucks, there had to
be a lot of them with all those people.
I like food trucks.

There was not a single food truck. If there were, it would have to give away food for free. Many camps did give away free food, I might add, but only at certain hours and often long lines formed.

I do agree with you on food trucks, I love them too. Funny how food from food trucks generally tastes better than from a restaurant.

Was anything allowed to be sold? What did you see being sold even if it wasn't allowed?

At center camp one could buy coffee, tea, and lemonade. Just outside it, you could buy ice. Never once did I see anyone violating the rule against buying and selling.

So you have to bring your own food?
90% of the fun of any kind of festival
or outdoor show is the food stands
and trucks. Are the people who run
this idiots?

That's cool
Most festival food sucks and I don't trust it. Same food sold at carnivals. yuck
Generally at these festivals in a dry climate, its dust city.
Bonnaroo was disgusting as there seemed to be a cloud of dust hanging over the entire festival area due 100k people walking on dirt roads.
We cook up some great food at the festivals.
We keep it simple, steaks, hamburgers and hotdogs on the RV grill
Clean, fresh and tastes good
Cold slaw and potato salad from the cooler for sides

Whaaaat?? It rocks, that's why there
are lines of people at the trucks and
booths. Some of the best restaurant
food is at shows and events and
festivals. At antique shows I love the
polish sausage and onions truck. He
keeps a huge griddle of carmelized
browned onions going all the times,
mixed with green peppers. I get it
everytime I go.

80,000 people paying $1,200 a ticket. The money speaks to its success.

This pianist went to it this year. I only linked to her main youtube page where she is doing some piano/classical jazz playing, but you can easily find her burning man video in her video section.

Put it in IA and nobody would
go. It's close to Calif, that's
why it's there.

She's good. There was a pianist at her level playing on the 747. I captured a little of her playing but people kept walking between us, including topless women, and I felt it was breaking BM rules to capture them, so I turned off the camera.
