You would really have to know your 1960s television to recognize a character that appeared on a single episode of a popular TV series.

Even in the movies, some cartoon characters were inspired by real people

Who would know there was an animated series called Gilligan's Planet on for 13 episodes in 1982, or a show called Partridge Family 2200 AD for 16 episodes in 1974. or a show called The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang for 24 episodes in 1980?
