I don't know how much of the appeal is due to the swearing and 'losing it' aspects, but if you have never heard these two, NOT SAFE FOR WORK, here they are

Earl Weaver's Manager's Corner, which was never aired and never meant to be aired,

and this from The Gambler [2014]

Holy crap, that bit from The Gambler
floored me. What a ton of truth in
a 4min clip. Who wrote that, I wonder.

He wanted to get those
commercials right and when it went
wrong, we see his frustration.

Yes, you can definitely see that. He is very hard on himself when he forgets a line, which was often, and makes many self-effacing comments about his mind "going to mush." I feel badly for him.

I think people follow him because his honesty and intensity is so raw. I think almost every man has a Jack inside of him somewhere.

Gives new meaning to the term not often heard these days: "man-jack".

I like that he doesn't try to say that a million is enough. $2.5 million? That could be enough, depending... and that is the figure the writer uses, like he knows

If you read the interviews with
the old time gamblers, they
all give similar advice. Insulate
yourself from going broke, make
sure you have a base that is paid
for. The clip puts it in a more
eloquent way..
