At hole 15 today, he's in 48th place. I don't like Tiger, have never liked him, ever. He's arrogant and was always soooo above everybody else. When his philandering brought him tumbling down I was delighted. I maintain he'll never be 'back' because his self confidence was destroyed when his arrogant world came falling on his head because of his own giant ego. So I watch just for the schadenfreude of it all.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

He didn't birdie a single one of the par 5's today, yet in practice this week he eagled 3 of those par 5's. Typical Tiger, he clutches up during tourney play and shines in practice. The commentators almost weep when he's at the tee, like a god is about to hit. They don't yet grasp that he's a fallen god, never to rise again. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Tiger already did what almost all pro golfers will never do. Except for some individual records, he's eclipsed everyone but Nicklaus. He's still trying to do that. Same thing anyone in his position would be trying to do. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

And Jack was there today, starting the event. 78 and still hits the long ball. Woods can't stand in Jack's shadow, ethically or any other way. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

You've consistently maintained that spectator sports are a waste of time. Why is golf the exception? I love sports. However golf on TV is best used to induce a Sunday afternoon nap. The mind hungers for that on which it feeds. |

It's not. I made it clear this is all about Tiger and schadenfreude. It's the only golf I watch, and when Tiger finished at 18 today I switched it off even though there was hours of play left. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

rxwine Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 189 Posts: 18762 | Tiger is 42. The oldest golfer to win a major open was 48, and that was 50 years ago. You've got to deal with new crops of younger golfers who are reaching their prime every year in both experience and strength. If you have any injuries that react to all the stress of twisting and trying to hit the ball hard 4 days in a row you really have a challenge. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | Tiger is #29 with a few more to finish playing. He's 7 shots from the leader. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
