Wizard Administrator Member since: Oct 23, 2012 Threads: 239 Posts: 6095 | Peacock (Wiz) Accuses Colonel Mustard with Rope in Dining Room on Thursday Winner! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew! It was a coin flip between the Revolver and Rope. After my big reveal I was pretty sure it wouldn't come back to me so had to flip. I knew Green and myself didn't have either, Mustard could have had either, and everyone else was a big fat blank. To break the flip, I looked at who was suggesting both items. Here is what I had: Revolver: Miplet turns 6 and 9, OD turn 1 Rope: Miplet turns 7 and 8, OD turn 7 I was thinking maybe OD was shown the Revolver in turn 1 so never came back to it. Also thinking Miplet may have figured out it was the Rope in turn 8 so went to his own Revolver in turn 9 to throw off the competition. Of course, this kind of analyzing, perhaps over-analyzing, has got me in trouble before. Also, it was quite the decision which room to go in. I thought the Kitchen had the best odds to be the scene of the murder. Only Miplet might have had the card. However, it was a dead end. Mustard had the Study and I didn't want to be stuck in round 10 with only there to go. At least the Dining Room led to the Library, which also looked very promising. Plus, the Dining Room has been very good to me lately. Unusual that it wasn't the room that was the final mystery. If I may toot my own horn, this is my first consecutive three wins. And screwing up my notes that last suggestion. I’m going to redo then to see if I would have accused or not. OnceDear Member since: Nov 21, 2017 Threads: 11 Posts: 1509 | Congratulations Wizard, Unlucky Miplet. I had eliminated Lounge and Conservatory quickly and held Ballroom, leaving the other two pairs of connected rooms. I went my way and you guys took your pair and we just slogged away, till Wizard came to join me. I felt stymied in eliminating suspects because I was damned if I was going to summon one of you guys to the likely crime scene. I had day and mostly figured the room was one of Dining/Library and Mustard was revealed by Wiz's reveal, as was weapon. Interestingly, if Wizard did not accuse, I would be stuck knowing that the crime scene was either Dining room or Dining room held by Wizard and the reason for his not accusing ! That would have been a quandary. Rather glad I went to bed and saved myself a completely wasted night's sleep. Some of your hunches were wrong, but the coin was right. Welcome Scarlet (OD) Cards shown to you: Mustard (Dum) has Lounge White (mip) has Conservatory Green (Com) has Saturday Peacock (Wiz) has Professor Plum Plum (Rob) has Knife Mustard (Dum) has Tuesday Green (Com) has Miss Scarlet Peacock (Wiz) has Wrench Cards you have shown: Peacock (Wiz) was shown Mr. Green Peacock (Wiz) was shown Lead Pipe Your cards in the order that they will be shown if there is more than one. If you have already shown a player a card, it will take priority. Lead Pipe Mr. Green Ballroom Billiard Room Go to Reorder page |
