My vote is an error somewhere. I was down to 2 suspects and 4 rooms. "...remind me of clue: Colonel Mustard in the billiard room with the candlestick."- Derek Morgan |

odiousgambit Member since: Oct 28, 2012 Threads: 154 Posts: 5055 | Possible errors: I deduced OD had the Plum card, Mr. Green had the Mustard card, and BBB had the Green card, and was shown all other suspect cards [starting with none] edit: OK, well, suspects not the problem maybe we should just find out who had what Congratulations! the survivor method worked again! OnceDear Member since: Nov 21, 2017 Threads: 11 Posts: 1504 | Well That was certainly different to how I expected it to be. I started out with 3 day cards and plum. Almost immediately Mustard showed me two day cards, which felt like it should be a real blocker, but oddly we all picked up on Thursday very quickly, and Wrench was easy for us all to see from Miplet's table circler. Amused by other players leaning on that suggestion by repeating or tweaking it. Never seen that technique come into play before. Maybe that's a new normal. Note taking was a lot more complicated than I expected and boiling deductions out of it made estimating my potshot chances go quite adrift. I was convinced that miplet was unlikely to hold dining room and was down to two suspects. Pretty badly misinterpreted my own notes. Oh hum. Guess we need to explore this new variant a lot more. Oh, and well done miplet. |
