Try this quiz, See How Well You Can Draw All 50 States. I had the patience to do only 25. Here were my scores:

A+ 1
A 2
A- 0
B+ 11
B 4
B- 0
C+ 3
C 3
D+ 0
D 1
D- 0
F 2

Tough test. I would have done much better had I been able to draw with a paper and pencil. Just try to do well with Alaska and Hawaii. I thought I was pretty good at U.S. geography. Once at a restaurant I draw a map of the US on the back of the menu and the waiter liked it so much that he gave me a discount on the bill.

I am genuinely mad at myself at drawing Kentucky. I thought the thick part was on the left side. It isn't. One of two states I've never visited so that may explain my ignorance to its shape. My only A+ was Nevada.

I got a few A's, mostly B's and C's, and 6 F's on
all 50.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

I haven't looked at it yet, but if you cannot get an A+ on either Wyoming or Colorado and possibly Utah, you're a $h!tty artist!

I think I got only a B+ on Colorado. It isn't because I don't know its a rectangle, roughly 5 (long) by 4 (high) but that my hand is shaky and can't draw a straight line with a mouse very well.

Brian Unger, the host of "How the States Got Their Shapes" has to draw the shapes backwards on his acrylic backboard for it to come out right on the camera, which is looking through the glass like a two-way mirror. I think that is a pretty neat trick.

my masterpiece below. The grading during the process was inconsistent, I thought. It *was* hard; I even sometimes had pretty much an image in my head I couldn't really get onto paper [so to speak]

I wonder if the empty bits will eventually fill in.

I was so ashamed of my Texas that I almost didn't post it. Looking at a real map like that first for a bit would have helped. I live in VA and have been looking at the map of it a lot lately, which helped there.
