Would they drag an Encyclopedia Set to go get a Latte? Magnetic grip on touchpad? I thought it was best to keep magnets away from chips? |

They are designed for gamers. The same company makes laptops with ferrari logos, for people who just want a cool looking equipment. |

I think), 80286 processor (which I'm sure had a running speed of some sort), a whopping 1 (O-N-E) megabyte RAM, ports of all sorts (except USB), a 3.5" HD (for high-density) floppy drive and a 40 megabyte hard drive. It ran on MS DOS 4.01, and I used it a lot to connect to the internet using a terminal program, an external modem (so slow it's not even mentioning the "faster" one I got later on) and TELNET to connect elsewhere for email, Usenet groups and even a primitive, and frustrating, form of web with an all-text program called LINKS. My desktop weighs only 1.5 pounds and will attach to the back of a 7 lb television. So it isn't anywhere near 18 pounds. |
