I can hardly wait for the world to warm up a little more. It will only hurt those that believe in it so millions of liberals will die and the world will become a better place.

Actually, liberals will survive because they're smart enough to adapt. Millions of Trumpers and Joe Sixpacks will die because some demagogue will come along and tell them that only he can fix global warming, and they'll go to his hate rallies and belch a lot rather than protecting themselves. Liberals will stock up on sunblock. Conservatives will stock up on Slim Jims :)

You are amusing, though. Do you realize the self-contradiction in "it will only hurt those who believe in it"? Of course you don't.

The New Testament is not science..

Neither is what's written about GW, that's the
problem. It fooled you, just like the NT fools
people. You got taken, sucker.

It is the epitome of ignorance to say that the consensus of thousands of scientists all over the world and the results of thousands of scientific studies aren't science. Denying climate change is just plain stupid at this point, with all the data that are available. You make yourself look like a fool by doing that.

He's played you into denying climate change, Bob. How does he manage to control you so completely?

I can forgive you your ignorance because probably believe that the ice pack in Antarctica is shrinking. Must be true because I was told by a professor.

I caught hell on the other site for telling a Clintonite that no serious historian would rate Clinton as a POTUS yet as you need at least 30 years to look back objectively. Almost there, and the corporatist wing seems to have been born in 1992. For some reason, Bill Clinton embraced NAFTA and WTO after it. Since then both parties have pushed any kind of trade agreement. Dems also the party of the "cool" companies. Don't think the Bernie wing, until we get a better name, did not know to feed off this.

The party will not split into two but I expect a return to the fractured party of pre-1992.

NAFTA and the WTO stuff isn't necessarily corporatist (note that the word does not mean in the pay of the corporations). Trade agreements are seen by many economists as a good thing if they let free trade happen (and should be welcomed by the right as means of grease for capitalists). Of course, when trade agreements lock in the positions of big companies and give them unfair advantages (TPP, does, as do other agreements that allow corps to sue governments), then you start to see elements that are problematic to both a liberal, a socialist and a free-market conservative ideology.

Of course, if you want protectionist tarriffs, there's pressure on prices to go up on lots of goods no longer made in the country.

I believe Trump wants to cut corporation tax to 18%, and that is probably a good idea for starting to claw back some of the offshoring that happens in the knowledge sector. I'm not sure anything will reverse the long term decline in consumer manufacturing that some who voted for Donald hope for.

Most people know that is not coming back. Some can, however. One key is local and speed. If you can ship faster and make changes faster you can compete on a slight price disadvantage. Americans like cheap junk too much for quality to really compete at WMT, but maybe a step above we get to where a local can compete. They are still out there.

Lots of stories out there of families inviting
guests to T-giving and banning all political
talk. Did this happen in 08 and 12, when
Obama won? Hell no. Trump wins and the
tolerant and open mined Left doesn't want
you talking about it in their house. Hypocrites.

And Babs Streisand thinks Obama has the
power to select a SCOTUS justice with an
executive order. Never mind that the
constitution has no provision for this
whatever. What a dope she is, didn't she
say she was leaving the country (again) if
Trump won? Idiot.

Easy:

1) Effingly big tariffs on manufactured goods

2) A ban on any and all forms of automation in factories

3) Powerful unions in manufacturing (optional, but you'll want them for the political contributions)

Come now. Isn't it time for every working man to have his very own $100,000 subcompact sedan?

This just puts visually what has happened in the USA. What has happened to the Democrat Farm System. Limbaugh has talked about this since 2010. While Obama has made some headlines in DC, he has helped pull the party so far left that it is really retreated into just a few strongholds. Even MN and NY don't have unilateral Democrat control.

Of course, Trump could easily just let the same thing happen in reverse. Politics is like that. But it cannot be said Obama led some Democrat Revolution. Instead he oversaw the regionalization of his party in the biggest way in 160 years.
