Unless you're the original sinless Jesus, someone stealing your private correspondence is damaging anyway. First of all, most political statements are crafted to avoid ambiguity, so political opponents can't spin them easily the other way. Normal conversation often isn't so careful, the damage is done, both because the original private context is lost, and things like a jest can be taken seriously.

Second are you seriously saying if the same thing had been done to Republicans, it would cause no damage. Seriously? Nope not believable. Oh, maybe it wouldn't cause Trump damage, he could strangle a baby and eat it on TV and he would only lose 50% of his supporters. But nope, not normal people.

Let Duffman claim it would do no damage if it had been done to the Republicans, and we can have a good laugh at his ridiculous statement. Putin caused damage, how much, I don't know.

A statement was made that Putin somehow helped Trump. I asked the liberals time and time again exactly what he did. Neither you or any other liberal here has answered. Grown men will back up such a statement. Little boys on the playground keep saying "IS TOO!"
