I thin we'll see the development of animal organs for human transplants in full. that is, any organ will be available to be used for transplant as needed. For some conditions, perhaps a pig or other small cattle animal could be tailored genetically even more closely to the recipient. In any case, the idea would be to have organs available for transplant at all times, so perhaps human organs won't be needed any longer.

then, too, an abundance of organs gives rise to possibilities. Perhaps for life extension in all cases, for example.
