I'd no idea. But it's still not what I meant. So let's call it you're right, but there is another state/territory/colony which fits the description. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

When you posted this comment, bitcoin was in the low $400's and is now over $1000. Let's hope you got in at the time. OpenBazaar Launched - April 4, 2016 Bitcoin value: $420.61 The initial production version of the first decentralized marketplace software, OpenBazaar, was released to the general public. The goal of the project was to facilitate peer-to-peer trade without a middleman, fees, or restrictions on trade. The software allows users to create virtual stores where buyers can purchase goods using Bitcoin. The OpenBazaar project would later announce it received $1 million in funding from venture capital firms Union Square Ventures, Andreessen-Horowitz, and angel investor William Mougayar . The closed-door meeting included over 30 miners, service providers, and Bitcoin Core developers and was meant to address solutions to the block size debate. The meeting concluded with a public statement proposing the group's support for the new Segregated Witness functionality, and making a hard fork in the Bitcoin protocol available that would increase the block size limit between 2MB and 4MB by July 2016. Others in the Bitcoin community denounced the meeting as being inconsequential as the parties involved represented a small handful of Bitcoin companies and special interest groups. |

There was lots of foundation for foreign currencies and look what happened there! Not much foundation to a unicycle either but if once aboard you keep going... you will be okay. |

Not only mining on non-specialized hardware is ridiculously slow, but it is not even profitable. Mining bitcoin is now a business, in the hands of professional miners that have invested significant money in infrastructure. Here is a good story about generating 3 bitcoins back in 2013 https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/06/how-a-total-n00b-mined-700-in-bitcoins/ |
