DDoS is a type of DOS attack where multiple compromised systems, which are often infected with a Trojan, are used to target a single system causing a Denial of Service (DoS) attack.

This freaked me out a bit. Accessing this website caused a page to come up that said it was checking my brower , indicating 'ddos' was going on. I guess somehow it confirmed my access was normal. It made me wonder if that information was shared.
