Well usually names ending with an A are Female, except for Joshua and Kenya(I have seen a man with the name Kenya, ;)

When I visited South Africa I was informed by a taxi driver that his name was Lynda and that, in his culture, Lynda is a man's name

:) Different cultures for you. :) I know of someone who said his Foreign Client's last name sounds like a cussword in English. LMAO! :D

On a side note, I should be thanking Posters who stand up for me and support me more. For instance, on another website, someone who is a lesser known Poster posted something like,"I stood up for Nathan and supported her and she never even once acknowledged my presence which I found off putting. I don't wish her harm but I found that very tacky on her part. She had time to acknowledge the more well known Posters, and ignored me, once again tacky and hurtful on her part." So, I need to start thanking Posters more.

I see that Wikipedia verifies that, "In African terms the name Linda means "wait" and is not gender based..."

In Spanish speaking Countries Linda means the equivalent of Lovely/Beautiful. :)
