I have never seen one that integrates what I assume is the land and the underwater topography on a small scale. It appears that the main river in the picture had carved a massive canyon when the ocean levels must have been significantly lower. "The Gully" off of Nova Scotia is not as large as the Monterey Bay canyon, but it further to the north. |
