I am not quite sure what question you are translating

How about if the US just takes Mexico and central America as far south as the Panama Canal [eliminate need for fence] by any means necessary, and see if Canada will accept us all in? [jk]
I understand the [jk] to mean just kidding.

No mas discutir?
I thought discutir meant fighting, so in my way of thinking, no mas discutir meant "no more fighting".

Interesting comment. Puerto Rico has been a territory for more than a century, and they are full American citizens. The number of people who identify as Puerto Rican on the mainland increases by 125K per year. Puerto Rico itself is 3.5 million people with a very low fertility rate. Republicans are terrified of giving Puerto Ricans on the island the right to vote for President.
Again this is under the "just kidding" umbrella. I don't want conflict, and my entire umbrella'd paragraph was a parody, that makes as much sense to me as what is currently happening.

Presuming that you want to conquer the Caribbean as well,
No, no, no, I don't want to conquer anybody, I am anti-war.

Are you familiar with General Smedley Butler's " War is a racket" http://www.wanttoknow.info/warisaracket.shtml, and Prescott Bush's attempted coup?
The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW

Discutir is more likely to imply an argument. Luchar is more of a real fight. You must conjugate the verb or it sounds like "you be fighting".

So many people suggest things like the USA buy Baja or simply buy the northern Mexican border states that it is difficult to know who is kidding.

The Annexation of Santo Domingo was an attempted treaty , initiated by President Ulysses S. Grant in 1869, to annex “Santo Domingo” (as the Dominican Republic was then commonly known) as a U.S. territory, with the promise of eventual statehood. The movement for annexation appeared to have been widely supported by the inhabitants of the Dominican Republic, according to the plebiscite ordered by Báez (1849-1878 five terms as president) , who believed the Dominican Republic had better odds of survival as a U.S. protectorate and could sell a much wider range of goods to the U.S. than could be sold in European markets.
