Playboy Playmates keep getting skinnier

When Wired magazine crunched the numbers in 2009, they determined that the average BMI of a Playboy Playmate had gone from 19.4 in 1960 to 17.6 in 2009. (Ironically, over that same period the BMI of the average American woman has increased from 22.2 to 23.1.) Upon viewing the photo below from the Miss USA 2015 pageant last week, one thing jumps out at me: all of these women are too skinny. Yuck. Anorexia just isn't sexy. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong...  |

None of these girls are anorexic, not even colloquially. But they do seem kind of... plain. Boring, even. I must be getting old. Only Oklahoma looks interesting. Something about her stomach and shoulders gives me hope that's she's done something that would be worth talking about. All the rest, to quote the one and only buzzpaff, look "like they were born on third base and think they hit a triple". Like there's nothing here but genetic lottery plus 3hrs of fluff and paint. Boring. That's the best I can say, and it's probably the worst thing I could ever say lol. But it has nothing to do with being "skinny". The world's hottest woman is quite thin herself.  Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |
