QANTAS problems may be symptomatic of a larger problem.

Twice the airline has had to substitute a Boeing plane for a long term maintenance problem with an Airbus plane.
Now down to 11 A380s in its fleet, Qantas has a problem with a plane that just had a major overhaul in Lufthansa's facility in the Philippines. No one is publicly uttering the S-WORD yet, but it sure looks like ALL pumps and valves in one of the three hydraulic systems will have to be replaced and the pipes will have to be flushed and flushed and flushed.

Sure accident or inattention could be to blame but does it really look like it? I mean if the label says "hydraulic fluid" you put it in the hydraulic system; if the label says "molasses", you don't put it in the hydraulic system, unless you are already in the air and getting desperate.
