Old pearl of Wisdom: when you have nothing nice to say about something other people are enjoying, it's best to say nothing.

Therefore:

Nothing. ;)

I think that consensus among critics is almost unprecedented for a major release action film

5 bad reviews out of 260 Mad Max
6 bad reviews out of 267 Boyhood (one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2014)
16 bad reviews out of 193 Ex Machina
68 bad reviews out of 263 AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

It also seems to be making money.

On IMDB there is 10 pages of 1 and 2
star reviews from people who absolutely
hated it and want a refund. No acting,
no story, just confusion.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

So Mel Gibson isn't in it?

Nope. And it is specifically religion, the human construct, that is targeted, not spirituality, which is a human condition that many people have.

It is definitely a movie for a younger generation. But for those who are raised on action movies, the action in this film is loaded with far more meaning than something like Transformers.

Well, then, I may watch it when it comes out on cable, or Netflix. I've done that with several movies these past ten years.

This movie is amazing! It returned me the faith that blockbusters can be made in a great way, not like some horrible Transformers.

I saw this twice already, once in 3D at Red Rock, once in 2D at Palms. For what it is, it's phenomenal. It's a high-action well-choreographed chase movie with attention to detail. I haven't seen a movie twice in the theater since Poltergeist back in the 80's.

For those who've seen it: did you realize three of those "wives" that were being rescued were Victoria Secret models who have walked the walk on the VS Fashion Show on CBS? The main villain Immortan Joe, was also the villain Toecutter in the first movie Mad Max about 35 years ago. Also, the stunt extras for Furiosa and Max fell in love on set and married last week.
