At least it was one of their cheap cars. They occasionally give away luxury or high end cars. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

They should be worth a whole lot more than one extra commercial spot. The big winner is Manuela Arbelaez |

Yes. Most definitely. I just wondered for a moment what the demographics are for that show: sex, age, income brackets. I really can NOT see the producers being in any way unhappy with the event. It may be "Eye Candy" but when its shown to be fallible eye candy I think the entire audience reaction is even greater. The shows producers could not have done better than they did to get good publicity. Even the sponsor is happy to give away a car once and get the incident replayed and talked about several times. Works out all around. |

The prizes on these shows are not costing anything, they are part of the advertising deal with the production company. Advertising is sold in packages. A car company forks over a certain amount of cash, and say, 6 new cars, for a 6 episode block of shows. The producers decide which shows they're used on. If the lady had not won the car, the next time somebody would have. The car is already paid for, or it wouldn't be there as a prize. If the girl accidentally gave away all 6 cars, it would make no difference to anybody connected with the show. These shows are just one long commercial for the products given away. That's why I stopped watching in the 70's. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
