I could probably thin it down to 400 in an hour, and 200 in a day, but I always leave that boring task to rare slow days in the Emerald City. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

| Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 148 Posts: 25978 | There was a thread like this on WoV a couple years ago. I have every email I ever wrote or was sent, on maybe 10 different accounts. 13,000 on the two accounts I use now. It's been invaluable to me, it's like having a diary without keeping a diary. Why anybody would delete a personal email is a mystery, when you don't need to. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Please explain this to Hillary Clinton. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

I delete a lot at work daily but probably leave about 5 a day so the number has built up over the years. I delete all the BS. If there is an incredibly tiny slim chance I will want to look at it again, I don't delete. Memory is cheap. So leave about 5 a day at work. Once I read an email I either move it to an appropriate folder or delete it if it is junk. My Inbox only contains new emails that haven't been read that day. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

Prediction - Lindsey Graham has a land line in his home :-) Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

| Face Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 61 Posts: 3941 | What a trip down memory lane. Mine goes back to 2011. I was so young and full of life... 165 in what I consider my "personal" address, the one I've had for years. It also gets all the junk from site registrations, online applications, and all that jazz. Probably 130 of those 165 are hockey related =p I have another for "business". Resumes, contacts, job app's and responses... and that one's empty =/ Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

Pretty much what I do. I read it, action then if I can, then file it (archive most of the time, some I tag). Pretty quick, and means I have a virtual to do list of emails. It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.... it's called Life |
