Congrats to RA Dickey. He really deserved this. He won 20 games on a team that only won 70+ in total.

Yaaay! "lefty" would approve. I think S. Carlton won 27 games... and the team won less than 60. Phillies, I think.

There was something almost poetic about it. MLB teammates, maybe the two best players in baseball ( if I allow myself to forget about Aaron Judge for a moment ) facing off for the last out of the world classic, each representing his country.
The mind hungers for that on which it feeds.
