| Pacomartin Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 1068 Posts: 12569 | Just to confuse the issue further, look at the census definition of "White" “White” refers to a person having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa. It includes people who indicated their race(s) as “White” or reported entries such as Irish, German, Italian, Lebanese, Arab, Moroccan, or Caucasian. So some of the people from Ethiopia are fairly light colored. Could they pass the definition of "white"?  Liya Kebede has skin that can appear dark or light, but she does not have the facial features often associated with Africans.  |
