Wizards 51st Birthday Unicycle Challenge

| petroglyph Member since: Aug 3, 2014 Threads: 25 Posts: 6227 | Our local paper today has an article about Bill Mueller riding a 36 inch unicycle to benefit burned firefighters and veterans. Currently riding down hwy. 101 he will be stopping in Lake Havasu where he spent part of his youth. He started out in Seattle on July 4th and he plans to ride to Key West. He posts updates on instagram. TSA apparently confiscated some of the parts of his wheeler which he says makes it harder with 70-80 pounds of gear. Wizard, will you be joining him for a leg of his ride? The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW |

All right, what the heck is pickle ball and why are all my geezer friends playing it? Can people who aren't in good shape enjoy it like they used to enjoy tennis before they got all arthritic and torn up? I find that even Bocce ball and shuffleboard are now to strenuous and exhausting for me. I guess it is a good thing that I didn't move to the Miami area. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

It's sort of a combination of ping pong, tennis, and badminton.  The net is hung at 36 inches on the ends, and 34 inches at center. Pickle and Wiffle balls are similar Pickle Balls  Wiffle Balls  |
